AAUS Grateful for Kurdish Humanitarian Aid to Syrian Coast Massacre Victims
United States of America—The Alawite Association of the United States (AAUS) extends its utmost gratitude to members of the Kurdish Red Crescent, in collaboration with the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, for sending much-needed humanitarian relief convoys to Syrians on the coast.
On Monday March 17, 2025, acknowledging the severe lack of humanitarian relief efforts to help Alawite and Christian residents of the Coast recover from the recent March 2025 massacre, The Kurdish Red Crescent sent 20 trucks of urgent humanitarian food and hygiene aid to the residents of Coastal Syria, North Press Agency reported. According to Hawar News Agency, the aid trucks arrived in Jableh on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, where the aid was unloaded into local “Hand in Hand Association” warehouses that serve the Coastal regions. Early on March 19th, Kurdish Red Crescent personnel began organizing and preparing the aid for distribution to families in desperate need.
We at the AAUS are sincerely grateful for the Kurdish Red Crescent’s goodwill and support. We wish our Kurdish brothers and sisters a joyous and blessed Nowruz.
