About AAUS
MISSION
Our mission is to advocate for the protection, dignity, and rights of the Alawite Syrian ethno-religious minority community by raising awareness of their plight, combating persecution, and promoting policies that uphold justice and human dignity. We strive to make a difference by standing up for the marginalized and oppressed, and we work tirelessly to ensure that the voice of the Alawite community is heard and respected.
VISION
We envision a Middle East where all religious and ethnic communities, including the Alawite Syrians, live in safety, dignity, and peace, free from persecution. By building understanding and promoting policies rooted in human rights and justice, we strive to create a future where freedom and stability are shared values across nations.
Our Team
The Alawites Association of the United States was founded by highly-skilled Syrian Alawite U.S. citizens and government relations experts, committed to advocating for the dignity of the Alawite community and other minority religious populations around the world. They engage policymakers and civil society to protect Alawite rights, raise awareness, and promote meaningful policy solutions.
